How to get the most value out of Pluralsight

Pluralsight Courses

Because of the sheer number of courses, it can be hard to know where to get started with Pluralsight.

So, if you are interested in trying the site for the first time, here’s how you can get the most value for money.

The best thing you can do is to take as many courses as you can that interest you. Pluralsight has over 7,000 courses and there’s no limit to what you can take with a Premium subscription, so I recommend you try to learn as much as you can.

We also have a couple of recommendations for finding the best courses on Pluralsight.

Finding great courses on Pluralisght

Finding Courses on Pluralsight

When you’re logged in, the first place you’ll want to go to find great courses is Browse.

This is on the top left hand of the homepage. Clicking on this will show you the main categories of Pluralsight, including:

  • Business Professional
  • Cloud
  • Data & Machine Learning
  • IT Ops
  • Security
  • Software Development

You can also choose the Paths option, which will show you expert-curated learning pathways that include courses that lead to the development of particular skills.

Pluralsight can also recommend courses based on:

  • Search History
  • What you’ve watched
  • Newest Courses
  • Highest Rated Courses

You can also look for your own courses by checking the Search bar at the top. The best way to find courses that will help you out the most is by typing in keywords like ‘Python’ or ‘Intermediate.’

Finally, if you’ve spent a lot of time on Pluralsight and you’re not sure where else to learn, I recommend searching through courses by typing instructors’ names into the search bar.

You’ll want to search up any other courses by instructors who particularly helped you with a course or new skill, as you’ll know that their teaching style is in line with your learning style.
