Transform expertise into the matter into a resource centered on the learner
As an educational designer, a large part of my work takes place behind the scenes, in collaboration with experts in the matter (SMEs) to transform the in -depth knowledge of the content into significant experiences and centered on the learner. In the design Elearning, the biggest challenge is not the content itself. It guarantees that students remain committed, guided and thought out throughout the course. The evaluation plays a key role on this subject. But too often, the sections and comments are static or disconnected. This is where the integration of an assessment tool fed by AI has changed everything, not only for students, but for the way I work with teachers and SMEs during the development of courses.
When designing a new online course, I start by sitting with SMEs to unpack the fundamental results: “What should be able to do, create or think about the end of this module?” The AI tool helps us to quickly translate these results into categories of significant sections, going beyond the academic jargon and in a language centered on the learner. We use the tool for:
- Project of clear criteria based on behavior.
- Offer several versions of descriptions (master's novice)
- Align the section elements with specific formative assessments.
This process saves time to SMEs and gives them a clearer vision of how their expertise will land with students and how we will measure success at each stage.
Refroaching which evolves and remains human
One of the most powerful features is IA -assisted feedback. Once a section is integrated into the LMS, the tool:
- Generates a personalized formative feedback aligned with the performance of the sections.
- Imitates the tone of SMEs (support, direct or coaching)
- Allows students to ask clarification questions or request an development.
Instead of giving comments in a rush at the end of the classification cycle, SMEs can focus on clarification of the content while the AI manages the first feedback, creating a space for a deeper reflection and revision.
Formative feedback throughout the learning route
In Elearning, the risk is that students only receive comments when it is too late to apply it. We solve this by integrating formative contact points throughout the course:
- Writing or design tasks with low challenges
- Self-dérification reflections generated by AI
- Milestone reviews based on sections
Students use AI as a reflection partner to write answers, reflect on progress or assess their own work before submission. This gradually strengthens self -awareness and links their daily efforts to long -term results.
Analytics that allow SMEs to teach them more intelligently
Many SMEs want to know what is working, but does not have time to search forums or notes. With the analytics dashboard of our AI tool, we provide:
- Real -time visuals of students' progress by section criteria.
- Models in false ideas or sautéed steps.
- Analysis of the feeling of students based on reflections and comments.
This helps us adjust the course in the middle of the cycle and provide targeted support where it is necessary, especially in asynchronous formats where students could otherwise go through the meshes of the net.
Ai as a design partner, not a shortcut
What I learned by working with dozens of SMEs is the following: AI does not replace their expertise, this helps to translate it into online space by more clarity, consistency and care. Using the tool at the start of the Elearning design process, we:
- Reduce the workload of SMEs around the ranking and rewriting.
- Make the sections more understandable and flexible.
- Keep emphasis on thinking, process and significant growth.
It is not automation for speed; It is an increase in the service of better education, better comments and better learning. Elearning design is a team effort. SMEs brings the shine. The designer brings the structure. And with the right AI tool, we win a third partner, the one that makes the learning process more personal, transparent and responsive for each student.
The best assessment tools powered by AI are not only effective, they are empathetic. They are not content to note the work, they support growth. And when they are integrated for the intention, they all help us, students, SMEs and designers, go from performance to the objective. By working with experts in the matter, I use AI tools to transform the sections into interactive feedback experiences and centered on the student. Gradually integrated, AI becomes a support companion, guiding reflection, stimulating commitment and making learning more personal.
This process is never precipitated. This implies close collaboration with teachers, teaching teams and university leadership to establish confidence, align objectives and introduce AI in thoughtful and manageable stages. When adopted in this way, AI does not disturb; It allows all people involved to focus more deeply on teaching, learning and significant growth.
