The West Midlands Social Economy growth program aimed at developing the commercial skills of social enterprises, community companies, cooperatives and commercial weapons of charity to help them develop, become more sustainable and increase the impact they have by attacking inequalities.

This program was funded by the British government and the combined authority of West Midlands of the funds provided by the Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund.

This program has supported 155 social economy organizations of different sizes develop the skills and the confidence they need to increase, access public sector contracts and social investment.

The program has helped these organizations increase their negotiation income by almost 50% and create 175 new jobs. This growth should continue beyond the program with the skills and confidence increased by more than 25%
