I was very taken in great ideas recently, where my conversation and my thought take place before my writing. Or to put it differently, I bind myself in knots. So today, I got back to the basics to play with some illustration ideas for the next Planetary philosophy book.
The rapid median point of the year is supposed to be also a final point for two major projects: my doctorate and the planetary book, and the two are very close – so this work is at the service of the push of a little closer to the line!
You may have seen the illustrations I have shared so far, which all play on the idea of ​​a landscape, in a form (in a sheet or an arrow. I have done half a dozen now, and I am sure that they will form the main illustrations of the book. But alongside these elements, I played with sectional markers which are a bit like the illuminated letters that you would find in a medieval manuscript. from another.
Or I can decide that he is too separated from the main illustrations, and drop the idea!
Partly, I play with him, but it also helps me find the last push to finish the work. Once writing and illustrations are all over (I think five days for writing, but probably double for illustrations), there is still a lot of work to do on production, overview and a great launch for work, so I still have no fixed deadline. But I know that I can't wait to do it, because other ideas accumulate behind!
