The proposed initiative will use the Pattaya 11 school as a pilot project to encourage students to use their free time in a productive way. It will also focus on developing the skills of young electronic sports athletes, with continuous activities throughout the year.
Mayor Poramet stressed the importance of online games and the rise of electronic sports, which has gained popularity among children and young people. He stressed that E-Sports is not only a game, but a rapid growth industry generating substantial income. With its accessibility through online networks, electronic sports offer great potential for career development, contributing to the economy of Pattaya and the overall growth of Thailand.
