The National Institutes of Technology (NIT) should host a Scientific writing workshop on February 28, 2025Designed to improve the research and publication skills of students, researchers and faculty members. This workshop aims particularly to allow researchers at the start of their careers to effectively publish their work and advance their professional career.

The workshop will be led by Dr Ajay Kumar Jha, Associate publisher at ACS Publicationswhich will offer a perceptive session of one hour covering the key aspects of scientific writing, in particular:

  • Attributes of a high quality search document
  • Anatomy of a manuscript
  • Effective use of graphics and figures
  • Writing a well -structured cover letter
  • Ethics and plagiarism in scientific writing
