Superfund search program
The Superfund research program (SRP) has two major series of webinaries that occur each year: the Progress in Research series (PIR) and the Risk E-Learning series (REL). Both series are hosted on the US Environmental Protection Agency Website Cleaning Information of the Contaminated Site (Clu-in). The PIR Webinars present work launched by recently allocated recipients of subsidies. The purpose of these webinaries is to facilitate a dialogue between researchers, field practitioners and stakeholders at the start of the stages of research progression so that these new projects are on a trajectory for a technology transfer and a successful application by end users.
The rein webinaries provide information on environmental and health exposures and cover subjects, including risk communication strategies, biorestauration and data science. The webinaries are open to the public, including risk assessors and regional project managers, industry representatives, engineering / environmental consulting companies, community members, university world and federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
