The Institute for the Management of Organizations is the professional development program of the American Chamber of Commerce for the Association, the Chamber and other non -profit managers. Since 1921, the Institute has educated leaders from across the country, making it one of the oldest and best -considered adult education programs in non -profit management.
Today, the Institute's study program educates leaders on all facets of the management of a non -profit organization. The program consists of four one -week sessions on four different sites across the country. Although on site, participants participate in 24 hours of lessons, on subjects such as plea, new media, members, finances, legal problems, human resources and much more.
Participants engage in animated discussions on a multitude of questions affecting the associations of the association and the Chamber, ultimately helping them to build stronger organizations, better serve their members and become leading commercial defenders.
