Attention control tactics instructors
If you always operate as a “temporary mist instructor” for control / force control tactics, you must go to a certified MPOETC instructor No later than June 1, 2025. After this date, you will no longer be authorized to do CT training for your department.
If you have to upgrade, simply complete a MPO-239 and submit it to ra-mpotraining@pa.gov as well as a copy of your most recent certificate of instructors' development courses. If you do not know if you have already upgraded, send an email to MPOETC and we will confirm the certification status for you.
