ITIL Foundation

Regardless of the path you choose, you will first have to pass the ITIL Foundation moduleA Entry -level certification which covers the bases of ITIL 4. Candidates for examining the ITIL 4 Foundation should have a basic understanding of the creation of precious products and services for customers and stakeholders, the basic principles of ITIL 4, the four dimensions of services management, best practices of ITIL 4 and the key concepts of lean, agile and devops.

The ITIL 4 Foundation course usually lasts 2 to 3 days and covers the fundamental concepts of the ITIL 4 framework. At the end of the course, you will take a one hour exam with 40 multiple choice questions. A 65% passage score (26 correct responses) is necessary. You can undergo class training through accredited organizations listed on the Axelos website. Alternatively, many suppliers offer online courses, including rhythm learning and training led by live virtual instructors. If you prefer self-learning, you can use axelos materials, third-party suppliers and practice exams to prepare for the exam.

ITIL Practice Manager (PM)

THE ITIL Practice Manager certification (PM) Offer modules based on practice that allow a more flexible training program, allowing you to “group, mix and match the modules”, according to Axelos. It is designed for those who wish to validate and demonstrate skills and capacities in specific management practices of ITIL 4. To obtain the ITIL 4 Practice Manager certification, you will have to perform five individual practices offered thanks to a day training, or the three -day group course, as well as the ITIL specialist: Create, deliver and support the module.
