By reading online, I sign the resources that I find interesting and useful. I share these links about once a month here on my blog. This article includes links related to the generation of IA images, free tools, accessibility, work with AI, assessment, feedback and conferences.

AI image generation
AI art generator: free and editor AI image generator | Openart
Generate coherent images in several scenes from a single image. You can also use video image tools. The free plan is limited, but there are plans paid at different levels.
Say what you see – Google Arts & Culture
Learn to write better prompts for images with this tool. Describe what you see in an image and see how close your image is close to the original. This tool uses AI to analyze your results and your precision.
Midjourney's image editor update: new layers, smart selection, and more
Instructions on how to use intelligent selection layers and functionalities in Midjourney for more editing control. This gives you more options to keep the parts of an image you want but to regenerate or modify the variations. You can also assemble scenes with layers.
Flora + Gemini – several characters scenes
Rory Flynn (@Ror_Fly) on x Share a basic workflow to generate character images in Midjourney and use Flora and Gemini to create scenes with interacting characters. The wire also shows an example of a video with a track.
Combine together text, image and video generation tools for more complex workflows. I have not yet tested this tool, but it could be worth using the free plan to experiment and see what is possible.
Reflections and research on IA images
Images generated by AI: missed opportunities and moral rise
Tom McDowell reflects on the quantity of our current generation of IA images is very derived and reproduced specific artists. I agree with this. We could use these tools to create new and useful images, but there is a lot of use at the moment that seems problematic.
This summary of a marketing research document explains how they compared the images and advertisements generated by AI to the advertisements created by man. IA images were not only comparable, they were better than people created. Although this research is specific to marketing, I think it is relevant to the images we use in training and elearning.
First, we produce seven generative models of cutting-edge text text (Dall-E 3, Midjourney V6, Firefly 2, Imagen 2, Imagine, realistic vision and XL Turbo stable diffusion) to create 10 320 synthetic marketing images, using 2,400 real images and as human created as an entrance. 254,400 human assessments of these images show that the marketing images generated by AI can exceed human images in quality, realism and aesthetics. Second, we give creative briefings identical to the human freelancers ordered and the AI models, showing that the best synthetic images also excel in advertising creativity, advertising attitudes and rapid monitoring.
Free tools
Also note the additional free tools under the titles “generation of AI” and “accessibility”.
Free tools: who uses what – and why: publications library
The latest Jane Bozarth ebook includes a collection of free tools used by people in more quotes on how they are used. It is an excellent resource for anyone with limited budgets (and let's face it, most of us have limited budgets at least part of the time).
Work with AI
The scale of the human task | Josh Cavalier
Josh Cavalier has shared his scale of Human-Ai tasks showing a continuum of the way humans and AI can work together. It has so much more sense for me than a simple binary to “do everything yourself” or “did everything”. This reflects much more range and shows opportunities for different types of tasks and work.
How people really use Gen Ai in 2025
How do people use a generative AI? I was surprised on the part of the use for interactions such as therapy and personal interaction. “Personal and professional support” was the main wide category of this research, which also includes tasks such as the organization of your life, dispute resolution, construction lists, etc. “Content creation and editing” was second, followed by “learning and education”. The popularity of learning on the list was also an interesting observation.
“Personal and professional support” is now the biggest theme from a distance, flying most of its new field of “technical assistance and troubleshooting”.
Accessibility
Accessible color pallet generator | WCAG Compliant
A free tool to generate color pallets that meet WCAG AA contrast standards for normal text with white or black text (and it notes which color text to use).
Free closed legendary converter
Convert files between closed legends and transcription formats: SRT, mountain bike, TXT, Docx. Although most LLM can also make this reformatting, this tool is a secure option for those who cannot use LLM in their work.
Evaluation and comments
My article for TD magazine on mini-scenarios of a question for evaluation. This includes several examples of questions based on scenarios and explains a process of converting traditional multiple choice questions into scenarios.
Delayed and immediate feedback in class: the results are not what students think!
Megan Sumeracki sums up research on delayed and immediate comments on homework. The “immediate” condition here means “immediately after the due date” rather than “immediately after completing the work”. Students who received delayed comments made a level of approximately 1 year to exams. However, they considered that the delay did not help them or injured their learning. The perception of the students of what helped them did not align themselves on what really worked.
Logically, if we consider comments as correction errors, it is logical that we wanted quite immediate comments. But if we consider comments as another presentation of information, then a space should improve learning.
Research showing that the modification of the moment of feedback has had no significant effect. The conditions of this study are very different from most of the conditions for the training of companies and specifically in the connection scenarios. However, I think it is important to examine both the research that supports my opinions and the research that contradicts it.
Indeed, there is evidence indicating that feedback delivered immediately after an element can optimize errors correction (at least in certain contexts) 43 while delayed comments can improve retention and transfer for correctly answering questions by providing appropriate feedback to increase the development also for more questions on questions. is more difficult
Unlike our hypotheses, the feedback synchronization effect was not significant – there was no perceptible difference between the feedback delivered immediately compared to delayed feedback.
Conferences
Hadiya Nurridin has collected a list of large and small conferences related to training in workplace and Elearning. She also shares resources to learn how to write better proposals and become known to speak on a particular subject.
