By reading online, I sign the resources that I find interesting and useful. I share these links about once a month here on my blog. This article includes links related to the environmental impact of AI, by identifying IA images, generating IA images and videos, the impact of AI on L&D, WCAG accessibility standards, blogs and useful tools.

The environmental impact of AI

Mistral has shared their data on emissions, water consumption and the consumption of materials for the use of AI. They also share advice to reduce your environmental impact when using AI, such as using smaller and more specific models.
Identification of AI images
How to locate the false photos of AI
Do you want to learn how legal medicine experts can identify IA images? Watch this 12 -minute video explaining how image noise, flight points and shadows can help you identify the images generated by AI.
Real or Ai Quiz: Can you make the difference? Britannica
Test your ability to distinguish real images and AI with this quiz. I work a lot with AI images, and I have only had only 8/10 on this quiz. I appreciate the explanations on what to look for and the advice for a critical media review.
Texture and repetition of models: AI fights sometimes with textures or complex models, leading to a notable repetition or clumsy transitions. Students must look for unnatural patterns in textures such as hair, skin, clothing or background elements.
Generate AI images and videos
This non -profit organization collects images that represent AI and technology while avoiding typical metaphors and tropes. All images are creative communes under license.
AI art generator: free OpenArt image generator
Openart has an image generator, but they also have a tool to create video stories with consistent characters between the scenes. If you create a story from zero, you can generate the images, then use the image on video. I record it as a tool to test in the future.
Josh Cavalier's prompts to generate a scenario video with dialogue scenes between two characters. Images and made in Midjourney. The videos and the code to add interactivity are in Gemini (Veo). The entire process took him 35 minutes.
AI and L&D
L&D in the AI era: double what makes us humans
David Kelly shares ideas on human skills such as contextual judgment, conservation and connection which become more important in the AI era.
Mel Milloway shares an example of an interactive avatar for the practice of interviews. Mel worked aloud throughout the process of building this project to explain her work and the challenges she met throughout
WCAG accessibility standards

Blogger
I think back to the apogee of Edublogs when many people wrote and published regularly. I see a game now in the newsletters by email and LinkedIn, but many fewer people write regularly like that. Blogs (like any writing) help you to clarify your reflection. I am a better identity card because I spent so much time blogging and thinking in public.
Blogs are deeply important for me because it is a powerful mix of two ideas: creative expression and the search for others.
