Certification of the drinking water operator

The training and certification of the drinking water operator now accept requests for exam by email. Examination requests have been completely reformized as a fulfillable PDF. The applications have changed, so make sure you read the instructions in the application carefully. To apply by e-mail, follow these three steps:

Step 1) Fill the exam request (s)

Step 2) Full online payment

STEP 3) Submit both the payment receipt and the exam request (s) (s) has Egle-dwehd-otcu-exams@michigan.gov

The letters of approval / refusal of the examination are generally sent about a month before the date of the exam. If you do not receive an OTCU approval / refusal letter at least two weeks before the exam date, please contact our office.

* You will receive an answer email if it has been subject to the correct email address. Make sure to send it to the correct email address. Refunds will not be given for failed submissions.

Common problems with examination applications

  • Incorrect the e-mail address.
  • Do not sign your applications (s). If you do not sign your request, your request will be refused.
  • Leave the work tasks and the percentage of white.
  • Miss a signature of supervisor on professional experience. If you have to submit an experience, it must sign by your supervisor.
  • Applications submitted late will be automatically refused and no refund will be granted.
