Back in 2008, Bob Boilen (Host of All songs considered) and the Musical Critic of NPR, Stephen Thompson, attended a noisy concert where they had trouble hearing Laura Gibson perform. As a joking, Thompson suggested that Gibson performs instead of the Boilen office. She did. And, with this, the NPR Tiny office concert was born. Since then, more than 1,300 musical acts have played their own authentic and authentic shows within the cramped limits of the NPR headquarters in Washington, DC which includes everyone from Taylor Swift has Dua LipaAt PixiesThe Grateful Dead's Bob WeirAnd Gary Clark Jr. In the video above, Architectural digestion Takes you behind the scenes, showing the whole where magic occurs. There, you can see “a real office in a real office, surrounded by shelves filled with invaluable memories left by the artists – from the Adele water bottle to the Martini glass of Sabrina Carpenter and even to the Chappell Roan wig.” And you can meet the team behind production, while learning how Tiny Desk has become a beloved series. Below, look at a complete playlist of all the tiny office concerts. Appreciate!
