Last Friday of each month, I organized some of the observations and ideas shared on social networks. I call it Friday finds.
“Look, I know that AI is controversial, but just for a moment, reserve our preconceived concepts, our prejudices, the environmental impact, the massive cost to train and manage models, exploitation of work, intellectual destruction, inaccuracies, the mania it causes to users, the destruction of research, the troubleshooting of professionals, the devaluation of the work, Profession, the devaluation of creative work, losses of work, and the absence of an implementation profession.
Wait, what are we talking about?
–Max Leibman
How should the vast anti-capitalist movement tackle the climate and other green problems?
“The leftists and environmentalists are close allies in the same cause. There is no contradiction between the two: they are or should both be anti -capitalists. Environmentalism is not anti-human, as some leftists have maintained. Humanity is tangled with the more important biosphere than the management of the environment takes care of our extended body. ” –Kim Stanley Robinson
Find Peter Putnam via @Chuck darwin
The 60 -year -old man lying in the street, as long as anyone knows him, was only a concierge struck by a drunk driver. There was no mention on the local news, no Billology in the morning newspaper. His name could have been anonymous. But that was not the case.
His name was Peter Putnam. He was a physicist who had dragged with Albert Einstein, John Archibald Wheeler and Niels Bohr, and two pies of the accident houses, in his dilapidated apartment, where his partner, Claude, was surprised by a crie, were thousands of typed pages containing a new revolutionary theory of the Spirit.
“Only two or three times in my life, I have encountered thinkers with ideas so far, such a great vision, and a lively spirit that putnam,” said Wheeler in 1991. And Wheeler, who invented the terms “black hole” and “green hole”, had worked alongside some of the greatest minds in science.
When they tell you
(and they will tell you)
only with everything that is happening
It's ridiculous
be so worried
On the pandemic,
Remind them that while
war and
conquest and
death
are three
Revelation riders
plague
is the fourth.
