Virginia has adopted the new national model of the continuous skills program (NCCP) stated by the National Registry of Emts, with an entry date of October 1, 2025 for all levels of certification. While maintaining the NCCP framework, Virginia's approved plan provides personalized details describing standardized course equivalences, credit allowances in the fields of the subject and the maximum hours accepted for each course offer.
