Blogging is sufficient – Harold Jarche

This blog was 20 years last month – Mort Blog Marche. One of the major challenges that the growth of AI (GPT, LLM, etc.) presents to us is to connect with people – not machines – for our creation of meaning. A personal blog is a human way to connect. There is no algorithm to filter what others read. They can subscribe, according to their conditions and with their chosen technology thanks to real simple syndication (RSS). The great thing about blogs is that there are few rules. You can write as you wish, when you wish, and as often as you wish.

“When you write a blog article, you can say as much or as little as you wish. You can document an entire project that you made that made you happy, or you can document a small song. You can share your planting routine of the plant, or you can share your trip to spend a tracking item or not. ” –Blogs are the means of incomplete stories

I found that blogs were my favorite means of expression. I like to build on older messages. I like to share when the need arises.

“I continue to think that I should write another book.
I continue to think that I should write poetry.
In the meantime, without any cases, I blog.
I am a blogger.
This should be enough.

Not only are blogs “enough”, but it is an important counterweight to the nonsense assault of the AI. I don't care what Chatgpt wrote. I want to understand and connect with the people with whom I share this planet. My blog gave me this opportunity.

Here is a small random selection of colleagues bloggers who have kept me company for many years and who blog.
