THE 2025 Innovators in Education Showcase Showcase Thursday April 10 will take place at the Truhlsen Campus Events Center. The event, which takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., is open to all UNMC teachers, students and staff.
This year's showcase will highlight the most recent projects funded by the UNMC academic affairs office and set out 13 teams, with individuals of five colleges, higher education in Murm, the Munroe-Meyer Institute of UNMC and four campus.
During the window, participants will see live demonstrations from the latest online learning projects and the network with teachers and student developers. The format of the open doors returns this year, all the projects being demonstrated from 11:30 am to 1 p.m. before the recognition ceremony and the presentation.
“This year's online learning modules represent the latest education in the health sciences of UNMC teachers and students,” said Peggy Moore, director of UNMC's interactive e-learning and assistant professor of the MUM Collège. “From the biomechanics of the foot and the ankle to show how opioids have an impact on the neuronal ways, these projects demonstrate how interactive and engaging content improves learning to prepare future professionals of health science for real world scenarios.”
The calendar of the window is:
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Demonstrations of online learning projects (all projects)
- 1 p.m. To 12 p.m.: Recognition and opening ceremony, “e-learning in Action: How We Build, Integration and Innovated”, by Stacie Christensen, DPT, and Megan Frazee, DPT, both assistant physiotherapy teachers at UNMC college of Allied Health Professions.
