The SHRM-CP examination contains two types of multiple choice questions: autonomous elements based on knowledge that assess your knowledge and understanding of factual information, and elements of situational judgment based on a scenario that assess your judgment and decision-making skills.
About half of the elements of each examination are allocated between the three clusters of behavioral skills, and the other half is allocated in the three areas of knowledge of HR. For more information, please consult the SHRM BASK®.
