Farmington, Me (March 17, 2025) –Are you planning to take an online college course or two this spring or this summer? Registration at the University of Maine in Farmington Summer Session Courses is now open to the public.
Courses cover a wide range of subjects in art history, chemistry, early childhood and special education, education, English, environmental sciences, geology, health, mathematics, political science, psychology and rehabilitation.

Some lessons that can be interesting include:
Eng200 – Writing for professions – Professional writing, including internal and external communication for specific audiences. Attention is paid to style, grammar, visual design and digital technology.
ENV257 – Soil science – Study of physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. The floors are decisive of the quality of the environment and modern approaches to soil conservation.
HEA212 – Stress management – Lifestyle exam techniques, includes components of teaching methods in this field for kindergarten to 12th year.
MAT103 – Algebraic operations and thought for primary teachers
POS277 – Political science – United States, Canada, Greenland and Mexico
Psy234 – Ecopsychology – Study of the relationship between human beings and the natural world through ecological and psychological principles.
Psy225 – Development of children and adolescents
SED300 – including students with exceptions in general education
The first summer session lessons begin on May 12 with lessons that take place throughout the summer. Classes take place from four to seven weeks.
