How much does an online Revit course cost?

The Revit courses on this list range from being totally free to around $32.00 per month for the subscription sites. However, it’s important not to take these prices at face value. 

For example, you can audit classes from edX and Coursera for free, which is incredible considering the institutions they partner with.  However, you will have to pay an additional cost if you want the certificates. Usually around $50.

Also, it's worth considering the difference between subscription services, like Skillshare and Pluralsight and a site that sells individual courses separately, like Udemy. 

I personally think Udemy is a better option here because the software you are trying to learn is very specific. This means that you can access all you need to know with just one purchase. This is a particularly good option as Udemy courses are often on sale. 

However, subscription services are definitely worth considering because you can access everything the site has to offer for a monthly or annual fee. Pluralsight is a particularly interesting option here because all of its courses are catered specifically towards software engineering and IT.

How long does it take to learn Revit?

Firstly, most of these classes are aimed at beginners. However, people will be taking these classes with a variety of prior experiences and backgrounds. 

Some will have more experience with both engineering and architectural principles generally and BIM specifically, some will have a background in just the former and some won’t have any experience with either.

If you’re a total beginner, it is also worth considering Udemy’s Autodesk Revit: Beginner to an intermediate level. Here, the focus is on total beginners. As a result, the course is shorter and more direct, whilst still packing in all of the essential Revit tools and processes.
