(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University received a subsidy of $ 327,000 to help a construction contractor to ensure that his workers remain at the forefront of industry.

The subsidy allows school to team up with the company VEIT as part of the Minnesota professional partnership program. VEIT teams up with the professional and continuous department of SCSU.

VEIT hopes to create a personalized training program with redesigned learning equipment. Certifications aim to allow employees to remain competitive on the market in the face of technological progress.

Veit is based in Rogers. It specializes in some of the most niche aspects of construction, such as earthworks, demolition, installation foundations and the underwater building. It is one of the 20 companies that have teamed up with PACE to update the continuing education program.
