Free online learning available for elderly wyoming
December 19, 2025
A wide range of free classes is available for older Wyoming adults thanks to the continuous Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) partnership with a robust online learning service.
Jeff Clark, director of the Community Living section at the WDH aging division, described the digital education site “GetSetup” as a global opportunity for the elderly to increase activity, stimulate well-being and trigger their creativity by learning new things.
Wyoming residents participated in nearly 20,000 classes since WDH made Getsetup available in the state about three years ago. “Although the variety of subjects available via Getsetup is impressive, fitness lessons were by far the most popular among Wyoming users,” said Clark.
“Wyoming residents can access thousands of interactive classes taught by the elderly to their peers on Getsetup,” said Clark. “These courses can be a simple way to connect with others in the comfort and safety of your house, which is particularly a pleasant feature in bad weather.”
Beyond popular fitness lessons such as “indoor foot training”, the subjects available range from the avoidance of scams, the construction of computer skills, crafts and cooking to learning volunteering. Some offers involve live sessions; Others are recorded and available at any time.
The tailor -made video learning interface is available 24 hours a day and has been adapted to the elderly of all technological levels. The platform offers support by telephone and in all classes to help learners with technology and includes a complete reservation system with regular reminders and after-class notes.
Wyoming elderly can connect safely and easily with a global community by visiting https://www.gettetup.io/partner/wyoming online. Due to the WDH aging division of Division with Gettetup, courses are free for state residents. To avoid costs, residents must use the “Wyoming” promo code when booking course.
Clark noted that many classes are available in Spanish, some presented in other languages as well.
