An application developed by Irish, Tuneclub, was launched in order to combine digital music education with performance in person.
The platform allows musicians to learn online, then apply their skills during lively events.

To mark the launch, Tuneclub will host its inaugural sessions from Sugarloaf to Bra, Co. Wicklow from April 25 to 27, involving a series of live learning events in local sites.
Participants should complete the online preparation via the application before participating in collaboration sessions with experienced musicians.
In parallel, Tuneclub announced a creator fund of € 250,000 intended to support musical educators, event organizers and artists in the development of new musical learning formats that combine online and offline elements.
Applicants can request funding to create or develop musical events that integrate digital Tuneclub tools, including learning content, ticket infrastructure and community strengthening features – you don't have to be based in Ireland to apply.

The platform is described as “phygital”, connecting structured online tracks with the commitment of the real world.
It is open to learners and creators, offering interactive learning tools and monetization options for educators and event hosts.
Sugarloaf sessions will present tutors, including Tim Doyle and Rachel Duffy.
The project is advised by Dr. Liz Doherty of I Teach Trad, which offers professional development to the teaching team. The event is for adult learners who seek to develop session game skills.
Early registration is at a price of € 150 and available on www.tuneclub.com.
The Creator Fund now accepts the applications of a range of music professionals, in particular:
Educators seeking to adapt their teaching for digital formats.
Organizers of musical events and festivals.
Creators developing new forms of master's degree or learning experiences based on workshops.
The initiative is designed to extend participation in musical learning by integrating digital preparation with live events.
